Position Summary:
Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is a 285-bed acute care facility serving southwest OrangeCounty for more than 35 years. The hospital also provides services at the Orlando HealthEmergency Room and Medical Pavilion Osceola in Kissimmee and Orlando Health EmergencyRoom Randal Park in Lake Nona.Responsibilities:The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing Physical Therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.Demonstrates ability to appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice.Interpersonal communication skills include the ability to coordinate patient care with other team members, and counsel patientsand their families.Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, stateand local standards.Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.Qualifications:Education/TrainingAssociate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant.Licensure/CertificationCurrent license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant.Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
