Project Superintendent - Concrete

Position Summary
The Project Superintendent - Concrete is a critical field leadership position and is foundational to our projects' success and safety. The Project Superintendent will oversee the concrete scope of work on construction project(s) in the field, providing leadership to field foremen, and ensure successful completion of trade work. The Project Superintendent will also work closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure timely and quality completion of construction process.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in implementation of project-specific safety and accident prevention programs and maintain safe work areas through regular job-site inspectionsLead McCarthy's Task Hazard Analysis (THA) process and implement all safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programsSchedule and manage multiple crews performing various tasks across the project siteDevelop a project site logistics planComprehend contract drawings/specifications and communicate with owners, inspectors and other tradesAllocate resources, plan activities, review work and manage consumables/equipment, including compiling a comprehensive bill of materials and coordinating deliveriesManage McCarthy's field personnel to achieve optimum performanceReview and understand material budgetsReview and understand equipment budgetsMonitor project costs and identify areas for improvementProvide leadership in quality processProvide leadership in the safety and accident prevention programsDocument daily construction activitiesChair weekly subcontractor coordination meetingsIssue and maintain short term schedulesAssist Project Engineers in review of Shop Drawing and SubmittalsAssist Estimating in bidding opportunities and Preconstruction servicesAssist in development of detailed CPM ScheduleAssist in development of Detailed Scope of WorkVerify that As-Built drawings are kept currentAssist Project Manager in development of Chart of AccountsQualifications:
7+ years of experience with $50M healthcare, commercial, laboratory, education, water, and/or parking structures construction requiredApplicable field leadership experience in construction and self-perform concreteProficient in vertical and horizontal concrete forming applications and systemsExperience with HCSS/Heavy Jobs, P7 Scheduling Software, Procore or Bluebeam a plusPrevious experience directing and coordinating multiple crews and subcontractorsKnowledge of commercial construction principles/practices requiredProven commitment to Safety and building relationships with teamsAbility to work with all levels of project staff and organizationExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to travel
