Summary of Position
Temple Health invites applications for a BC/BE Palliative Care Physician passionate about medical education to join our esteemed Palliative Care Program as a full-time clinician educator. This role presents a unique chance to work within a dynamic, collaborative environment alongside an interdisciplinary team of palliative care professionals, including physicians, advanced providers, social workers, and chaplains, all dedicated to delivering exemplary, compassionate care.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through direct teaching and curriculum development. Enjoy the convenience of phone-only weekend and evening calls, and explore clinical research opportunities if desired. Our team is tightly integrated with Temple University Hospital, collaborating across clinical service lines and participating actively in health system quality improvement initiatives. Job Qualifications:• M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine fellowship programs• Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine• Unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by start date• Open to both recent fellows and experienced physicians
