What will you be doing in this role?

Our Registered Dietitians consistently demonstrate professional skills and abilities, with a broad knowledge base and strong clinical skills that are proven in direct patient care, in collaborating with physicians, colleagues and the health care team, and in training students. As specialists in more than one area, they serve as consultants and as a resource to the Department and other programs. Dietitians at this level are acknowledged as leaders by their colleagues and demonstrate motivation, creativity and a dedication to strengthening the profession and the Clinical Nutrition Program.

The Registered Dietitian plans and delivers nutritional care to all patients admitted at MDRH. As a member of the multidisciplinary care team, the Registered Dietitian screens admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk and oversees diet technicians with menu edits for patient preferences.

Current Registered Dietitian Licensure (required)

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required)

Basic computer knowledge (required)

Experience as RD in a actute care setting (preferred)
