The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Axiom, along with expertise in revenue cycle management, third-party reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and compensation plan methodologies.

The

Director of Operations

will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing daily operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, streamlining processes, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency and productivity. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our company's goals and objectives. Responsible for cost benefit analysis, revenue enhancement, overhead expense management, process improvement and physician oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations and align initiatives with the strategic vision of the practice and organizationDevelop and execute strategic plans to improve overall operational efficiency and effectivenessAnalyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance workflowLead and mentor a diverse team of managers and staff across various departments, fostering a culture of accountability and collaborationManage and allocate resources effectively to achieve cost-saving targets and financial goalsDirect, supervise and coordinate the functions and activities of all locations, working in each to develop and promote efficiencies, relationships, and moraleParticipate in the development and rollout of practice and corporate goals, objectives, and policiesEnsure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policiesDefine key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate and report on departmental and company performanceBuild and maintain a talented, dedicated, and committed operations team with depth and skills that enable the practice to effectively execute its strategic planEstablis effective communication with MDs and ODs and actively attend provider meetingsCreate a dashboard and benchmarks to ensure a high degree of patient satisfactionBuild a company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and employeesEnforce ethical business practicesMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societiesQualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or health Administration, nursing, or related health care field; or the equivalent in a critical ophthalmic role is required.Five + years of management experience of optometry or ophthalmology practices requiredKnowledge of principles and practices of health care planning and managementProven experience with effective hiring and motivating and managing a team.Strong staff relations skillsIn depth knowledge of revenue cycle management, third party reimbursement, regulatory issues, and compensation plan methodologiesWorking knowledge of NextGen, including building templatesDemonstrated ability to follow practice statistics and develop ways in which to improve outcomesMust have the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when receiving instructions from physicians or others, reading and interpreting procedures and related materials; examining and closely inspecting materials when using equipment; and working one-on-one with patientsLeadership qualities, diplomacy, discretion, ability to enforce difficult positions, excellent communication, public speaking skills and exceptional interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentExcellent Internet and related search skills as well as proficient with Microsoft Suite; advanced Excel; Axiom a plusIn Turn We Will Provide
