About the role: We are seeking a Process Engineering Manager to join our team! As part of the Arden Hills Process Development team, this position's primary responsibilities include leading a team of process engineers innew product development, processes, and technologies across the Arden Hills site.Specifically, this role will be managing divisional projects that require electrical test solutions in the area for Integrated Circuits (IC). This team is responsible for all BSC IC Wafer and BGA testing. You will work closely with designengineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies, including defining long term technology roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and management of team resources and processes to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes for divisional and operations customers. Additionally, you will provide strategic input on departmental, divisional, and BSC plant network initiatives. A key aspect of this role involves building, developing, and empowering a strong team that can meet the needs of multiple projects and customers across the business. You will also be expected to foster effective partnerships across functions and geographic locations to ensure the successful execution of key programs. Key responsibilities: Lead teams in the achievement of organizational and functional goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports. Coach and lead engineering teams to develop highly capable, scalable, and robust manufacturing test processes. Establish goals for scope of test system, cycle time, capacity, and other key metrics. Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to create innovative and manufacturable product designs. Ensure knowledge driven approach to process & product development, and that functional excellence is exhibited in all product and technology development projects. Develop detailed work plans, budgets, objectives, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Monitor &troubleshoot performance and schedule issues, support & enable team to achieve objectives. Recruit, coach, develop organizational talent. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline 5+ years related engineering work experience 2+ years of experience in project or program management, or in leading, supervising, and developing a technical engineering team Preferred qualifications: Team oriented approach to projects that drives collaboration & execution across the business. Experience in developing and transferring manufacturing processes and/or sustaining production equipment/lines. Track record of developing strong partnerships with multiple customers simultaneously Demonstrated competency in leading teams in the development of complex technical solutions from concept to commercialization. Working knowledge of BSC therapies, products, and processes Experience working in manufacturing, identifying opportunities, and delivering on commitments. Experience with developing medium- and long-te m strategic objectives for a service organization and guiding the team in tactical execution. Effective in building and leading high-performance teams.
