Travel RN - Labor & Delivery
Shift
: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, call
may be schedule call on rare occasion
Length
: 14 weeks
Requirements:GA license2-3 years experience preferredPrimarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother/Baby experienceBLSNRPFHMACLSAWHONN IntermediateAWHONN Advanced preferredOther details:
First time travelers okayCommunication SBARMedication System PyxisFloating based on needs of the hospital within skillsetPosition is primarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother/Baby experience.
Experience: 2-3 years experience preferred, first time travelers okay
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Description of unit: Care of the pregnant patient through ante, intra, and post-partum stages as well as newborn care. Nurse should be functional both in labor and delivery and family care center.
Procedures: Cesarean Sections, External Versions, Inductions of Labor, assisting with Epidurals and Blood Patches
Required certs: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, FHM
Scrubs not provided, colors - shocking pink and black
FLOATING: yes - based on needs of the hospital within skillset
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
Call: may be schedule call on rare occasion
HOLIDAYS:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
