All time and part time positions are available!

CDH Cardiac Intermediate (3A)26 bed cardiac step-down unit that is part of Northwestern Medicine's prestigious Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI)As part of BCVI, we are able provide the same advanced cardiac care normally only available at a major academic medical center, but in a suburban setting.Our unit cares for patients with a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses, including post cardiac surgeries and procedures.We are proud to be in the country's top decile of patient satisfaction for over 8 years!Cross training opportunities to the Telemetry DepartmentCDH Neuro Intermediate (3B)

24 bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disordersNeurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizure, and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair, CS leaks & lumbar drains, post-op neurosurgical and spinal patients.We are proud to be in the country's top decile of patient satisfaction!CDH Med/Surg Intermediate (3C)

26 bed fast paced, high acuity Intermediate Medical Surgical UnitHighly engaged staff active in shared governance and committed to multidisciplinary rounds at the bedside

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Current State of Illinois Registered Professional NurseAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate with othersStrong analytic abilities*Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.e

Preferred:

Experience in Stepdown units highly recommendedAdditional Preferences for the Emergency Room and the Pediatric Emergency RoomTrauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)Emergency Communications Registered NurseCertified Pediatric NurseCertified Emergency Nurse
