We are looking to hire a Regional Program Coordinator to assist with the planning and execution of local in-person and virtual events and to perform tasks ensuring smooth back-end operations in the region.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the Regional Program Director with the planning and executing large in-person and virtual events for the Southern States Region. Facilitate the planning and execution of small in-person events, including but not limited to marketing, communications, vendor research and negotiation, day-of logistics, and creation and preparation of event materials. Attend and staff various local and national events. Maintain supply/organization of event materials. Process program related expenses and invoices. Coordinate speaker itineraries including booking hotels, flights, and local transportation. Assist Regional Operations Director in the daily management of the Florida office, including but not limited to preparation for internal meetings, collecting/sending/distributing mail, maintaining office organization/cleanliness and more. Develop proficiency in the use of AIPAC’s CRM database to manage member information and provide support to development staff. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications/Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a positive can-do attitude. Extremely well organized and detail oriented with a commitment to consistent, outstanding quality. Able to perform calmly and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced situations and able to adapt quickly to change and problem solve to address emerging challenges. Possess the ability to multi-task and make thoughtful decisions with little direction in high-stakes situations. Previous experience handling multiple, time-sensitive projects with overlapping deadlines. Excellent research and writing skills. 2-4 years of experience in events planning or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and knowledge of and interest in the Jewish community. Fully competent in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) and able to learn new technology platforms easily.
