Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular Admin Day

The Advanced Practice Nurse performs the role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model demonstrated through the following competencies: leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision making. Works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. This nurse practitoner role isin an administrative setting and does not involve procedures or assisting in procedures. Duties include: Managing the database and registry with the database people, Reviewing quality metrics and fulfillment of accreditation standards, data report involvement, managing the care of interventional patients (pre and post) to ensure that guidelines are followedand standards of care are met (no direct patient care)
