Description
Padagis is seeking an Associate Director, Government Accounts, to manage all aspects of the relationship between Padagis and government agencies, and customers servicing government agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and Defense Logistics Agency. This includes the management of the company's Federal Supply Schedule ("FSS") and any National Contracts, as well as partnerships between Padagis and contracted third-party suppliers to federal, state, and military customers. All maintenance of the FSS must be in accordance with the Veterans Healthcare Act of 1992, Public Law 102-585.

This opportunity is available for all locations in the US as a remote employee, with preference given to hybrid workplace canddates in the Allegan MI, Wyoming MI, and Minneapolis-St. Paul MN commuting locations.
Job duties:
developing strong relationships with the appropriate contracting groups
responsible for contract negotiations, preparation, submission, and execution
responsible for the overall growth of the government sector, negotiating prices directly with the government agencies and partners, ensuring compliance with all regulations, third-party communications regarding government opportunities, strategies, contract negotiations, and the vetting process
manage the role of government analyst who will report directly to the incumbent
maintain the FSS in accordance with the Veterans Healthcare Act of 1992, Public Law 102-585

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least eight (8+) years of experience in sales, marketing, finance, or contract management
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply a variety of complex government regulations
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
demonstrated success in customer relationship management
Ability to comprehend complex legal documents
Strong financial and strategic acumen
Strong critical thinking, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications:
Sales, marketing, or related experience in the federal government sector
Demonstrated a clear understanding of the government purchasing landscape and managing sales to the federal government.
At least two (2+) years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry
