Our staff is fear-free certified and committed to practicing modern veterinary medicine. Our Medical Director enjoys performing complex dental procedures and our associate veterinarian has a special interest in ophthalmology. Our staff and our location have continued to grow over the years to help meet the needs of pets. Our veterinarians and our excellent support staff provide full-service medical and surgical expertise.

Lyndhurst Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Registered Veterinary Technician you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Role Responsibilities:Checking in clients and helping conduct patients assessments (communication skills and enthusiastic personality are a MUST)Monitoring petsDrawing blood for lab workEducating clients regarding veterinary care and proceduresMaintaining inventoryPreparing prescriptions based on label and dosage directions from the VeterinarianAssisting with surgical procedures (previous surgery experience is a plus!)Experience & Skills Requirements:

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $20 - $24/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
