Project Administrator position requires development of detailed/complex contract deliverables for the Afloat Global Installation Contract (GIC) aboard U.S. Navy vessels and shore sites undergoing alterations. Tasks including but not limited to reviewing installation design packages, building Bill of Materials (BOMs), writing subcontracting Statements of Work (SOWs), managing change order process, reviewing/developing daily/weekly/monthly Task Order reports, coordinating with PM/site leads for LOE/required documentation deliverables.
Skills and Abilities
:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Gathering data and assisting in preparing bid proposal estimates and developing Bill of Materials (BOM) spreadsheets.;
Review Installation Drawing Packages to develop BOMs;
Developing/reviewing/Submitting CDRLs;
Managing Change Order Process;
Uploading required documentation in MODTracker/sharepoint.
Requirements:
2 yrs Experience with spreadsheet development, document management issues, financial analysis, data collection, read milestone schedules, making travel arrangements, processing security related documentation;
1 years work experience shall be within DOD or DOD Contractor organization
Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials and specifications;
Experience reading and interpreting Installation Drawing Packages;
Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, and change orders, PWS;
Experience performing complex estimating;
MS Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Efficient clerical skills and able to type 65 to 75 words per minute;
Generating high quality work with attention to detail;
Working well with others in order to reach a common goal;
Must have a stable employment history;
Must successfully pass a background check.
Experience:
4 years of experience in a related field.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Certifications/Licenses:
A valid Driver’s License.
Other Desired Skills
Active secret security clearance desirable
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require to staff it only with U.S. Citizens
Travel may be required. Applicant must be willing to travel to various work sites
