Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days 7 AM - 3:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certified Radiology Technologist Certifications: Obtain certification within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology Job Description: - Perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.- Operate various equipment within the modality effectively.- Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.- Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to perform examinations accurately.- Assist physicians with various procedures.- Report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.- Maintain related records and notations diligently.- Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures as required.- Assist in the educational training of students.- Work predominantly in a clinical environment, ensuring compliance with all job-specific obligations and organizational policies and procedures.- Embody core values of kindness, excellence, continuous learning, innovation, and safety in all interactions and responsibilities.
