Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Specialty: Critical Care Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 12hrs 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited nursing program Job Description: - Provide specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in an intensive care unit setting.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.- Monitor and interpret vital signs, and perform necessary procedures to ensure patient stability.- Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders and nursing assessments.- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.- Educate patients and their families about their condition and the care plan.- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with best practices in critical care nursing. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field- One year of current experience in a progressive or intermediate care unit Note: This position requires adherence to all organizational policies and compliance with state licensing requirements.
