The Department of Family and Social Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks a board-certified Family Physician with fellowship training in Obstetrics to join our hospital-based maternity care faculty in the Bronx, NY. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the Labor and Delivery team. Surgical training is preferred and providers trained in cesarean delivery will be expected to utilize those skills. The physician will evaluate, triage, admit, manage, deliver, and provide postpartum care to women with low-risk pregnancies; and provide newborn care including circumcisions. The role includes training of family medicine residents, including a maternity care track, and of maternity care fellows. Academic appointment will be provided at appropriate rank.
