Interventional Radiologist
The University of Virginia (UVA) Community Health Radiology Department is seeking a BC/BE Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR) team in the growing Northern Virginia area. Successful candidate will make a significant impact on our expanding program in our diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedural services.

Work in a very active and progressive IR practicePerform a wide range of IR proceduresAbility to maintain diagnostic radiology skillsParticipate in the IR on-call schedule (one week a month)Cover Prince William Medical Center, Haymarket Medical Center, and Culpeper Medical CenterHandle inpatient interventional procedures requested by the ED and inpatient teams8-10 clinic patient visits per day when scheduled in the outpatient IR clinic with an opportunity to grow your patient panelAverage Image-guided procedural volumes in the hospital is 8-12 patients per dayOnsite Equipment and Services :
State-of-the-art Siemens angio systems64-slice CT scannersIntegrated EPIC EMR and Carestream PACS at the 3 hospitals and with UVAHi-IQ for IR quality metrics, inventory control, and schedulingVein ablation technology in the outpatient clinic
