$88,000-$125,000 per year, depending on skills and experienceWhat you'll do as a
Governmental Consulting Finance Director :
Design and modify complex spreadsheets, and develop MS Excel-based financial planning and rate analysis modelsManipulate large and complex data sets extracted from financial/accounting systems such as financial reports, customer billing data, water consumption data, and wastewater treatment plant dataWrite comprehensive study reportsRead and interpret comprehensive annual financial reports, budgets, capital improvement plans, etc.Lead consulting engagements, including managing project timelines, client communication, and deliverablesLead process improvement initiatives, which may include software implementation projectsWhat you'll bring to the Governmental Consulting Finance Director role:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or a related field5+ years of experience working in accountingExperience in the utility industry and/or governmental accountingExperience with software implementations, long-term financial planning, and/or utility rate studiesExperience in project management and navigating change managementProficient MS Excel skillsKnowledge of quantitative analysis, financial modeling, governmental accounting, and local government financial managementStrong analytical and financial modeling skills, including the ability to interpret analytical resultsTake the first step on your new career path!
