Council Veterinary Hospital is searching for a skilled veterinarian to lead our small animal practice in Bethany, Oklahoma. Bethany is located northwest of Oklahoma City, less than 15 miles from downtown.
Currently, our team is comprised of our Medical Director and one Associate DVM. As Dr. Emily Redden plans for her 2025 retirement, we're searching for an experienced veterinarian to lead our hospital.
Along with influencing the future of Council VH, you will also build upon our hospital's current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas.Experienced Medical Directors are highly encouraged to apply, however, we're also open to emerging leaders and experienced Associates (3+ years of clinical experience).

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (4- or 5-day work week). We're currently open weekdays 8am-5:30 pm and have a designated hour-long lunch break every day. There are no weekend, on-call, or emergency afterhours for this role. Additionally, we prioritize work/life balance by ensuring our team leaves on time and remaining flexible with our scheduling to accommodate vacations, important events, and life outside of work.

The Council VH team strives to diagnose and treat greater OKC pets with the highest standard of medical and surgical methods. We primarily provide general wellness services, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, and we are well-equipped with digital radiology, a cold laser, full surgical monitoring, ultrasound, and more. Our hospital flow is technician-driven, and our support staff team is well leveraged and utilized heavily. Most importantly, our team is committed to providing personalized attention and taking a family-focused approach to pet care in order to best support Oklahoma pets and their owners.
