Assistant Financial Controller
to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller and CFO, the
Assistant Financial Controller
will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management within a private equity or real estate environment.
Responsibilities:Oversee all financial reporting and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiencies.Utilize Yardi software to manage property and portfolio financials, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role within private equity or real estate.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.#LI-AS2
