MyCare Medical Group is seeking a highly experienced and patient-centric Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team in La Feria, Texas.

Our Primary Care Physicians (PCP) are extremely driven, continuously aiming high to create the ultimate whole person healthcare experience for our patients.RESPONSIBILITIES:Adult Only Patient PanelProficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities.Diagnose, treat and counsel patients on their current medical conditions and educate patients on preventative health measures, including performing annual physicalsDemonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicate Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.Ensure that all charts and medical records are accurately completed in a timely manner; and adhere to all clinical policies and proceduresPerform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner, and which are economically feasibleProvide direction and leadership to the clinic's medical support staff, regarding the administering of a patient's careProvide supervision in case assignment to nurse practitioner/physician assistant, including sign off on charts, where applicableEffectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing, and fragmentation of careSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Degree from accredited MD
OR
DO accredited program;
Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine is preferred.Board Certified
OR
Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineUnrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of Texas or the ability to obtain a license prior to employmentUp-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certificationStrong organizational and prioritization skillsDemonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situationsAbility to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically eClinical Works (ECW)Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding is a plusComfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient populationKnowledge of Value-Based Care modelsBENEFITS:Competitive CompensationBonuses: eligibility based on Patient OutcomesComprehensive benefits package, including
