JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a
Program Coordinator
for
Arringdon Orthopaedics
located in
Morrisville, NC
to provide clinical and administrative support and oversight for policies, procedures, and work flows of clinic support staff in an ambulatory clinic setting.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with clinic leadership, review/develop schedules, task assignments and allocation of manpower to meet the Health Center's productivity goals.Maintain liaison with all levels of administration, physicians and outside organizations to coordinate clinic/practice business, to facilitate the resolution of problems. Represent the clinic in meetings.Conduct meetings with assigned pod and direct reports to ensure compliance with established practices; run daily huddle and facilitate information flow between leadership and pod huddles; implement new polices and keep employees informed of current changes and standards.Make regular rounds with providers and clinical support staff to understand current issues in the clinic and to address problems in a timely manner. Proactively address items that could help optimize clinic operations.Provide staff leadership. Direct and coordinate various personnel functions including files, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding and performance appraisals of clinical staff.Coordinate and oversee all aspects of staff education program. This includes internal / interdepartmental continuing education offerings. Develop appropriate content for staff continuing education based on clinic needs as well as ongoing quality and safety audits. Ensure patient and staff safety through ongoing education and drills.Provide clinical support and/or coverage as needed based on staffing schedules and physician volume.Involved in the preparation of budgets and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds as appropriate.Provide administrative support to staff within assigned program areas to support the accomplishment of program objectives; develop, coordinate and advise staff regarding program policy.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.Work requires three years of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.Master's degree preferred

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
