The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a physician faculty member to teach students and residents, as well as provide care for the patients in Bowling Green, Kentucky.- 100 percent on-site at the clinic in Bowling Green, Kentucky- Work in a collegial environment- Join 4 Orthopaedic Surgeons, 1 Primary Care Sports Physician, and 2 APRNs- Responsibilities encompass a comprehensive range of general orthopedic procedures- Benefit from a robust referral system and a supportive administrative team- Shared call- Generous salary, incentives, retirement, benefits, relo/vaca/CME, malpractice & signing bonus- Servicing over 200K residents- 24 hour ER, cardiology, surgical facilities, an exceptional ICU- Supervise medical students assigned to the Orthopaedic surgical service, as well as supervise and educate residents in the care of patients with Orthopaedic related diagnosis- Responsible for establishing protocols and critically evaluating outcomes as related to orthopaedic surgery patients, and will serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees as assigned- The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability in clinical teaching, as well as the ability to share responsibility for administration of the orthopaedic program- Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience
