Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.Provide direct therapy services to students, either individually or in small groups, focusing on specific communication goals.Craft individualized treatment plans to address various speech and language disorders, including issues with articulation, fluency, voice, and comprehension.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborating with the IEP team to establish suitable goals and interventions for students.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language objectives into the students' academic curriculum and daily routines.Maintain precise records of assessment outcomes, therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Requirements
Master's Degree in a Communication Disorder-related fieldPossess an active Speech Pathology license in IllinoisEndorsement Speech PathologyASHA certification is desirable
