Tracking Code 2024011 Job Description Currently, RG is looking to hire a Transition Manager to support our Department of the Air Force (DAF) customer. This role will be critical in supporting our customer's overarching mission of optimizing business operations within and across the Federal acquisition enterprise. A Day In the Life: To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to plan and oversee the execution of a myriad of operational activities to transition offices (users and data) from legacy information technology systems into one or more modern systems. The overarching objectives of the Transition Manager include, but are not limited to: Engaging and communicating with subordinate staffs and transitioning offices to ensure the timeliness and effectiveness of lower-level transition activities Developing strategic communications to inform key stakeholders of transition activities and shaping messaging around activities and outcomes Analyzing transition processes and identifying and implementing process changes to improve transition outcomes Developing strategies and contingency plans to address risk and unforeseen issues in transition activities Reporting on transition activity progress, challenges, and key decisions Conducting training, and developing asynchronous training content Performing data analysis activities How You Can Make A Difference: This role plays an important and vital part in mission success. The ideal candidate will be required to have an integrated understanding of the work processes and activities of the Business Analysts and be required to assess issues and feedback from the user community and interface with Business Analysts to address functional gaps in the target IT system. Required Skills The Transition Manager is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value teamwork, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills. Required Experience To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered. Bachelor's degree in business management, statistics, computer science, or engineering 5+ years of experience in public procurement Familiar with ConWrite, ACPS, and/or SPS Contract Writing Systems Familiar with Federal/DoD/DAF regulations and policies Experience as a staff officer in a large organization at the MAJCOM/equivalent level or above Demonstrated record of superior performance in the management of complex enterprise-wide projects Ability to manage diverse requirements in a broad organization Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Able to convincingly deliver organizational change Ability to travel occasionally Current Secret clearance Bring the WOW Factor: In addition to our core requirements that are an absolute must for this role, we want to highlight some of the qualifications that we consider to "Bring the WOW Factor".
