Job Summary

The Engineering Planner, Senior will improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance/calibration resources, parts, materials, and equipment accessThis position is responsible to include the planning and coordination of all planned maintenance/calibration activities performed at both Colorado sites as well as the participation in all applicable forums to make a reliable scheduling and track, record, and report schedule attainment and make adjustment necessary adjustment to avoid maintenance or calibration's extensions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for developing and managing the engineering maintenance schedules for the factory.Identifies and implements improvements to the maintenance processes on site.Coaches and develops the BMRAM and engineering planning skills of the engineering staff.To have technical skills to implement and define with Engineering Technicians and Engineering management the right PM implementation.Manage the parts inventory system. This includes entering or supervising the entry of all parts transactions such as purchase orders, issues, returns, and inventory adjustments. This also includes managing blocked invoicesMaintain accurate inventory records and perform or manage periodic cycle counts and physical inventories. Provide management with the required reports.Work with maintenance group and vendors to ensure necessary parts are on hand while minimizing overall inventory value.Help develop and maintain procedures for parts and work orders and ensure the plant compliance with these procedures.Utilizes TPM/RCM to deliver the maintenance initiatives on site.Assist and recommend new projects and methods to minimize costs while ensuring accurate systems.Responsible for maintenance data capture (losses, cost, breakdown analysis, tag resolution).Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope and analysis of required level of planning.Conduct field walk downs to identify and document job requirements.Researching or gather necessary engineering or technical documents, specifications, and drawings.Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed job.Scoping of work, estimating of material and labor (internal and external) job requirements, identifying tool (calibration standards availability) and equipment requirements.Developing job material lists to increase "wrench time" and maximize efficiencyDetermine and include QA/QC requirements on jobs.Manage deviations and Calibration extensions as needed.MRO Supply Chain CoordinationCreation of purchase requisitions for outside calibration services.Creation of stock reservations for planned work.Pick Ticket creation for planned work.Assist Storeroom function in the kitting and staging of job material requirements.Communicates with contractor resources directly on specific work orders assigned to the contractors and performance expectation of the work order. Does not manage the contractor, but ensure that all of the details of the work orders ae clearly communicated and understood.Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor)Development of Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment.Keeps the EOS management informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority.Identifies recommendations and or areas for improvements.Maintains essential records and files from which management reports are prepared and distributedCompiles and delivers reports from BMRAM regarding the work execution management processEnsure all calibration work orders and calibration logs items are closed when work is finished.Is able to accurately measure the calibration backlog in its various forms and continually maintain not less than 2 weeks' worth of ready backlog at all timesEnters purchase requisitions for all planned services.Enters CMMS system reservations for all planned material requirements.Responsible for the maintenance of the Bills of Material (Parts lists, Standards, etc.) for assets including ensuring current information is accurateParticipation in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.Assists the EOS Managers and Production Managers in periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement.Reviews all On Demand Calibrations work order feedback and updates Standard Work Orders accordingly.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

FDA/GMP knowledge required.Must have in-depth working knowledge and experience in maintenance optimization and cost savingCustomer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skillsGood organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.MS Project working knowledge and experience will be an advantageAbility to write reports, investigations, and standard operating procedures.Experienced working with plant system like: Purified Water, HVAC, Steam, Compressed air and Chilled water systems in addition to equipment like: reactors, mixers, centrifugal pumps, Centrifuges, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with multi-level audiences.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$83,902 - $115,390
