Aerodynamicdesign and analysis of all components of compressors and turbines using 1Dmeanline, Quasi-3D, and 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), flow path andblade design. Experimental verification with lab and full-scale testing.Develop new design concepts and approaches to continuously improve designdeliverables and capabilities. Provide company-wide technical support andconsulting services covering fluid dynamic, structural, modal, FSI (Fluidstructure Interaction), and fluid dynamic coupled chemical reactions in supportof business development, R& D, operation, and engineering activities.Designtool development; as well as development of computational methods DevelopGenetic Algorithms automatic design optimization methods for aerodynamic designof individual compressor and turbine components as well as integratedcompressor and turbine aerodynamic systems.Participate in laboratory andfull-scale experiments, prepare reports for engineering and design personnel.Ensure satisfactory static and dynamic stability and control characteristics ofcommercial systems.Participate in and approve aerodynamic technical proposalsfor internal and external customers.Develop and perform aerodynamic upgradesolutions for existing equipment for cost reduction and productivityimprovement. Remote work is permissible within a commutable distance from theworksite.

What makes you great (REQTS)

Must have a PhD degree or foreignequivalent in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.Coursework/graduateresearch experience must include: Aerodynamics and Fluid Dynamics analysis in 1dimensional, 2 dimensional, and 3 dimensional analysis experience; Turbomachinery aerodynamic design and analysis; Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD); Experimental aerodynamics (both prototype and full scale testing); Structural aerodynamic measurements; Aerodynamic stability and control; Fluidstructure interaction; Pre-and-post stall aerodynamic behavior experience(dynamic stability); Reaction with combustion Fluid dynamics; High temperaturegas dynamics; Aerodynamic tool development for design and analysis purposes; and Two-phase thermodynamic and fluid mechanic behavior.
