Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary.Obtain complete history and position patients using immobilization when necessary and explain the procedure to patients.Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic qualityAssist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive proceduresExplain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the examUse radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safetyEvaluate images for technical quality, and exposure, and transmit to PACSQualifications
Job Requirements:
Technical or Associate's radiography degreeMust be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
Active BLS certificationPreferred Job Requirements:
One year of radiology experience
