This position will be supervised by the Department of Student Services and building-level principals. Restorative Counselors will be responsible for providing small group and individual interventions to support mental, social, and emotional health services in LCS. This position will provide students with appropriate relational/emotional competencies, skills, and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. They will also enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. This position will work with all stakeholders to ensure that identified behaviors are analyzed to develop effective and strategic modeling through consistent responses. This position will also work with contracted professionals to provide behavior support and intervention specific to behaviors that are displayed by each student. Restorative Counselors will also support the Restorative Academy, a new program for students who need behavioral and/or mental health support to build skills that will allow them to be successful at their base school. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's in Human Services.Candidate must possess or be eligible for a QMHP-C certification.Preferred knowledge/ experience in restorative practices for candidatesPreferred experience with trauma-informed practices
