Our client is $x0M CPG company that is looking to bring on a controller to join their team and assist with their growth. This role is 100% remote; however, the candidate must be based in the west coast. Please ensure that you meet the location requirements and upload your resume to be considered.
What you'll be doing:Lead preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting that enables the business to make optimal decisionsAssist with the ERP system implementation (e.g., NetSuite) and upgrade from QBO.Drive the month-end close process and seek continuous improvement in the rigor, speed and accuracy of reportingReview all month-end close activities including general ledger accounts and balance sheet accountsEstablish and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP best practicesOversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial reporting and partner with the Finance team to analyze monthly operating results against budgetManage annual audit, serving as the main point of contact with external auditorsWhat you'll need:
Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in AccountingCPA, Big 4 background10 years minimum experience, with at least 1-2 years as a controller for a Company with revenue exceeding $50M
Prior experience within a CPG or F&B manufacturing company a plus
Experience with NetSuite a plusAssisted with the scale of a business and have the ability to interact cross-functionally
Prior IPO experience or exit from VC, Series B preferred

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
