Responsibilities

SCM Planner:

*This role wont offer any future sponsorship/Visa

What You'll Get To Do:

To build and manage global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value added support and account management from receiving new orders, working with vendors and all parties involved to ensure procurement SCM and customer satisfaction.

Procurement Operation Management - 70%

Analyze customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize efficiency

Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with suppliers and customers and cooperating with business associates. Including, warehouse and logistics companies.

Control logistics cost and business process cost referring to business rule.

Summarize monthly P and L balance sheet figures for each in-charge account

Solution Development - 20%

Identify opportunities to improve, develop and expand the global procurement scheme through purchase and supply of raw materials, metal process.

Communicate with business associates including customers, suppliers, logistics service providers smoothly with problem solving mind. Especially needs to discuss and negotiate with Business Division in Japan and Japanese suppliers.

Admin - 10%

Maintain the computer system master data including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.

Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers

Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight and warehouse companies

What You'll Bring:

3-5 years Global procurement experience

Communication skill in Japanese Language (Business Level) required

BA\BS in International Business or similar preferred

Must be proficient with MS Office suite, particularly with Excel

Experience work in Battery Material, Resin Process, Metal Process industry preferred

Competencies: Key desired behaviors; e.g., problem solving, innovation, collaboration, etc.

Passion to create new solution of global procurement and supply chain

Set challenging goals

Desire for self-improvement

Proactively act as “Customer First”

Communications: Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persuasion required

Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English (Listening, speaking, writing & reading).

Communication skill in Japanese Language (Business Level) required.

Other Requirements: E.g., working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.

Overnight travel as business needs require

Ability to work extended shifts, evenings and weekends as business needs require
