Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Geriatrician to fill an opening with a network of federally qualified community health centers located in Bronx, New York. Responsibilities of the Geriatrician: The Geriatrician will provide medical care to treat, prevent and/or diagnose illness, disease, or injury. The physician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient, prescribe/administer treatment, therapy, medication and/or vaccination. The physician will also focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advise patients and community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. The physician will collaborate with and non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc). The physician will perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands. Home visits and in office visits Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is a nationwide recruitment agency, matching both new grads and advanced practitioners to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, multi-specialty groups, and private practices.
