NO WEEKENDS!Job Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant will work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. PTAs implement selected components of patient/client interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort. Additional Responsibilities:Provides general information on departmental policies and procedures.Attends required Provider/Dept. meetings and participates in committees as requested.Attends &Participates in weekly case conferences and Physical Therapy Care Team.Other duties as assigned by Clinical Team Leader/Supervisor, Office Manager, Physicians or Associate Director of Physician OfficesPractice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".Physical and Mental Demands:Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously at above average levelAbility to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.Ability to communicate clearly with high level verbal and written communication skills.Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting patients, occasionally required to lift and carry items up to 100 pounds.Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.Knowledgeable in use of proper body mechanics, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
