Full-time coverage requiredMonday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (clinic)Procedures from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Thursday)Procedures from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Friday)24/7 call coverage may be required on a rotational basis (no Monday-Friday call)
Work Details:Practice Setting :
Rotations between the hospital, ambulatory center, and clinic/office visitsBlock schedules in the Ambulatory CenterOffice open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Patient Volume :
10-15 patients per dayPatient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Procedures :
General gastroenterology proceduresNo ERCP, EUS, or high-end services requiredProcedures include standard colonoscopies, EGDs, Flex Sig, etc.Expect to perform 10-12 procedures per day, with full days dedicated to the Endo Suite or Ambulatory Center
Support Staff :
2 Advanced Practitioners (AP) and a seasoned clinic staffCollaborative environment with a well-seasoned team
EMR/Documentation :
EPIC for general charting and GI-specific documentation with ProvationDragon for dictation, Mobile Heartbeat for hospital services, and Tiger Text for provider communication
Requirements:Board Certification : Gastroenterology requiredLicensure : Active Pennsylvania (PA) license requiredCertifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Experience :
Must be proficient in general gastroenterology procedures and comfortable with full-spectrum GI services in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Skills :
Strong communication and collaboration skills
