Job Summary

The Director of Student Support Services is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, and management ofall Multi-Tiered Support Systems, Special Education programs, services, budgets and personnel. The Director of StudentSupport Services shall ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing the delivery of services to allstudents within the Dos Palos Oro Loma JUSD and serve as liaison with appropriate public and private agencies. TheDirector will also plan, organize, control and direct the Special Education program for the District as well as serve as theChief Administrator for the SELPA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California Driver's LicenseBachelor's degree in education, Special Education or related fieldAdministrative credentialMasters in Education Preferred

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE :3-5 years of experience in Educational Leadership; Three years classroom experience; Experience in leading instructional professional development and sustainable improvement science;Knowledge of standard treatment protocol, data driven instruction and observation/feedback; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
