Monday-Friday, float tech used to cover day shiftsDefinition of position :
The Dual-Modality Technologist delivers high quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.Essential Job Functions
:
Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.Operates with limited supervision, while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability.Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all timesExercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentialityPerforms essential job functions successfully in a busy and stressful environmentLearns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman HealthStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAnalyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines.Minimum Qualifications
:
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology and CTMontana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CTAmerican Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hireMinimum of 2 years of previous radiology experiencePreferred: Associates or Bachelor's degree in health care related studies
