Finance Manager - Columbia, SC
Job Scope
The Finance Manager role will support multiple strategies across a diverse group of product lines. These strategies will drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs, and overall business improvement reporting directly to the General Manager. The role will be the primary liaison for the Commercial and Operations teams. This role will also lead Financial Planning and Analysis. Primary responsibility will include commercial and operational analysis and tracking, presentation of commercial and operational metrics, sales and margin forecasting, and full budget cycle. The team member will be proactive in sales and manufacturing data analysis, process improvement and being a strategic business partner to multiple business functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive financial performance by measuring and analyzing commercial and manufacturing resultsControl, coordinate, and develop forecast execution and proactively follow up on deviations with the management team.Joint P&L responsibility with the Commercial and Operations managementSupport Commercial & Operations management with ad hoc information for decisionsDevelop tracking tools and key performance indicators to drive business decisionsTrack customer profitability trends and provide concise reporting for decision-makingTrack and present pricing trends to drive customer profitabilityLead periodic forecast activities - Weekly and MonthlyDevelop automated forecasting process - Commercial (Sales and Profit) and Operations (Manufacturing Absorption and Spend)Coordinate and consolidate annual budget(s)Participate in the annual re-cost processAssist with the analysis and preparation of capital expendituresPartner with Supply Chain to drive cash flow through cross-functional working capital initiativesPrepare periodic management presentationsExperience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA/CMA/CFA preferredMinimum of 5-7 years of relevant experienceManufacturing experience in extrusion, polymerization, or product assemble is a plusExperience leading/managing multiple diverse P&Ls highly desiredStrong proficiency with MS Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel requiredEPICOR, PowerBI, and Peoplesoft experience is a plusKnowledge:
