Client Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of labor and employment issues, including employment contracts, workplace policies, employee rights, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.Litigation Management: Oversee and manage employment-related litigation, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and labor union matters. Develop case strategies, direct legal research, and represent clients in court or arbitration.Compliance and Risk Management: Help clients navigate and comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Conduct audits and assessments to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with employment practices.Policy Development: Assist clients in drafting and implementing workplace policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and best practices. Provide guidance on employee handbooks, codes of conduct, and workplace safety programs.Employment Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, non-compete clauses, and confidentiality agreements to protect client interests and ensure compliance with legal standards.Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for clients on employment law topics, including harassment prevention, discrimination, and employee rights. Educate clients on recent legal developments and their implications.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior lawyers, associates, and paralegals. Delegate tasks, supervise work, and provide guidance to ensure high-quality legal services and professional growth.Business Development: Engage in activities to generate new business opportunities, including networking, client outreach, and marketing. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support the growth and success of the firm.Settlement Negotiations: Handle settlement negotiations and dispute resolutions on behalf of clients, aiming for favorable outcomes while considering the client's long-term interests.Ethics and Professionalism: Uphold the highest ethical standards in all legal practices. Ensure that all advice and actions comply with professional conduct rules and legal ethics.Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to clients regarding the status of legal matters, strategic recommendations, and potential outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies.
