Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Surgeon to join our growing Acute Care, Trauma and General Surgery Program. As a Level III trauma center with a robust Robotic Surgery program as well as a Cancer Center of Excellence we provide comprehensive surgical care to the community.

Our team strives to be the premiere leader in Trauma and Acute Care, Trauma & General Surgery delivering the most innovative and compassionate surgical care.

The Surgeon will join a team of four experienced general surgeons

responsible for providing trauma and acute care surgery that is delivered in a systematic and holistic way.

The Surgeon will be paired with an Advance Practitioner who will follow along with the surgeon’s schedule as well as provide additional peri-operative and follow up assistance.

The goal of the Acute Care/Trauma Surgeryprogram is to provide 24/7 coverage.

This approach to care, will provide improved access to care, continuity of care as well as follow up care for patient. It also allows for an improved call schedule for the surgeon.

This role will report to the Trauma Medical Director.
