We are looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team at our hospital in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska.
Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian will include:
Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animalsDiagnosing and treating illnesses and injuriesPrescribing medication and providing medical advice to pet ownersPerforming surgery and other proceduresMaintaining patient recordsWorking with other members of the veterinary team to provide excellent customer serviceQualifications for the Associate Veterinarian position include:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary schoolLicense to practice veterinary medicine in the state of AlaskaAt least 1 year of experience working as a veterinarianStrong clinical skills and decision-making abilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
