Position Title: Laboratory Supervisor - Chattanooga, TN

Shift:

Full-time • Days (No Weekends)

Job Summary: The Laboratory Supervisor oversees technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties: • Your role supervises personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas. • Functional areas of responsibility for your role may include but are not limited to technical discipline areas in which department is licensed, specimen collection, specimen processing and specimen referral testing. • You will perform technical and non-technical duties in assigned areas of responsibility as required. • You will be responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications: • Current State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License required (LICENSE MUST BE IN HAND TO BE CONSIDERED) • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent • At least 5 years of experience as Medical Technologist • Prior Supervisory experience preferred • Licensure in 3 technical specialty areas preferred • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all co-workers, staff, patients, patient families and vendors • Proficient computer skills, i.e. ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs for creating reports • Medi-Tech experience preferred

Compensation:
