Role: Physical Therapist - in Atlanta, GA (Part-Time & Full-Time)
Shifts: Days
Responsibilities:
• Assess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames
• Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals
• Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient
Principal Functions:
1. Work under the supervision of the Executive Director
2. Provide physical therapy supervision and consultation to the staff when indicated
3. The Physical Therapist would treat patients with a written prescription by the patient's physician
• Evaluation and establishing treatment goals
• Direct physical therapy treatment therapeutic exercise massage and heat etc.
• Reporting to the physician of patient's reactions to treatment or changing condition
Able to maintain and treat 2.5 patients per hour.
REQUIREMENTS: Completion of a four-year integrated college program in physical therapy leading to a baccalaureate degree and approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and by the American Physical Therapy Association.
