Associate Veterinarian

Potter League For Animals, Providence, Rhode Island, us, 02912

We are seeking a veterinarian for our Pets in Need low-cost veterinary clinic who wants to make a difference for under-resourced pets and the people who love them.

When you join the Potter League team

you are able to focus on care, not production , and will be a hero to those who need you by making a life-changing, and often lifesaving, difference for pets and the people who love them.

Keeping pets happy, healthy, and at home with the people who love them is central to our work. For many Rhode Islanders, the cost of quality veterinary care for their beloved pets is out of reach. Elderly, disabled, or disadvantaged pet owners are often left with nowhere to turn when their pet needs care. To help ensure that our community's pets have access to quality veterinary care, and to keep pets with their loving families despite financial difficulty, the Potter League's Pets in Need (PIN) Veterinary Clinic, located in Riverside, RI, provides compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to the pets of Rhode Islanders receiving public assistance.

Rhode Island's largest and most innovative animal welfare organization, the Potter League for Animals, has three locations throughout the state. Our animal care and adoption center receives more than 2,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals at our center annually and consistently maintains a Live Release Rate of 90% or higher. Our commitment to all animals means we are willing to pursue all reasonable efforts in order to provide for their well-being.
