The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks an Allergy, Immunologist to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy Medicine. Thedivision cares for a unique array of patients in a diverse, underservedpopulation. As the only academic medical center for the state, opportunityexists for innovation in teaching and providing care for both rural and urbanpopulations from diverse cultures. This position will be primarily locatedin the University of New Mexico Hospital outpatient clinic area and would seepatients daily and have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
This is a multidisciplinary section and has astrong fellowship programs in PCC/CC and Sleep and we are seeking anacademically focused applicant to join our team. This position is Open rank on the Clinician Educator track. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:MD or DOBoard certified in Internal Medicine & board eligible in Allergy/ImmunologyMust be eligible to work in USPreferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with:Experience/skills in providing exemplary medical care for Allergy disorders primarily in adult patients;Experience in teaching residents and medical studentsEvidence of scholarly activitiesA demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communitiesApplication Instructions
