Acara Solutions is looking for an Electro-Mechancial Assembler for our partner located out in Newark, CA who specializes in Defense ManufacturingHere is what you will get: Pay Rate: $25/hr Shift: Monday-Thursday 8am to 5:30pm and Friday 8am to 3pmHere is what you will do:

With training, assemble electronic components, multiple-wire harnesses, sub-assemblies, large and heavy chassis and systemsFollow work instructions, including production drawings, photos, notes and verbal directionsSolder and touch-up componentsWork with a team of assemblers and techniciansIdentify and initiate continuous improvementWork with engineers to make changes when required.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Electra-mechanical assemblyHigh school diploma or GEDAble to handle multiple commitmentsWith training, able to read and understand manufacturing instructionsComfort with using hand and power toolsAble to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisBasic computer skills - email, internet parts search, ability to learn to use various database programsAttention to detailGood command of the English language, both written and verbalPreferred SkillsSome experience with mechanical assembly work, and following work diagrams and instructionsBasic plumbing experienceGood hand/eye coordination and mechanical aptitudeSoldering ability
