We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Smithtown, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, with a preferred focus on diabetes education and management. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

In this role you will:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, particularly diabetes.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.Provide education and support to patients regarding diabetes management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and laboratory results.Perform necessary procedures and tests as per clinical guidelines.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives.Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and diabetes management through continuous professional development.We require:

Master's Degree in Nursing (for NP) or a relevant graduate degree (for PA) from an accredited program.Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in New York.Certification as a Diabetes Educator (preferred).Previous experience in endocrinology or diabetes care strongly preferred.Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care..Salary up to

$165,000
