Exciting part time opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist with teaching opportunities in BaltimoreResponsibilities
We are seeking a part time BC/BE per diem pediatrician to be part of our hospitalist team at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore, Maryland.20-bed inpatient unit with the hospitalist team managing an ADC of 5-7 patientsFull time support from an array of pediatric subspecialties as well as pediatric intensivistsPatients are drawn from the pediatric emergency department, general and subspecialty outpatient offices, and surrounding hospitalsResponsibilitiesClinical responsibilities include caring for general inpatient pediatric patients, co-management of pediatric subspecialty patients, and providing inpatient consultations as neededThis is a teaching service with attendings supervising and teaching learners of all levelsResponsibilities include seeing new admissions and rounding on patients while in house during the day, and taking call from home at nightHospitalist attendings are active members of Sinai's division of pediatric hospital medicine and the larger Sinai pediatric facultyPart time commitment is 7 weeks per year.Qualifications
