The role you’ll contribute:
The role of the System Modality Program Manager of Biomedical Engineering is to support the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and oversight of the biomedical engineering functions across AdventHealth. This individual is an integral member of the system ancillary leadership team - overseeing integration and development of biomedical governance and select committees; ensuring effective organization so that the strategy and objectives set forth by governance are implemented in a timely and efficient manner. The Modality Program Manager is expected to have a deep understanding of the governance functions and will have leadership responsibility for managing and overseeing the operations of the biomedical governance process. This individual should be aware of the external forces impacting standardization among all regions within the biomedical and capital fields. This individual will report to the System Director of Biomedical Engineering.

Engages and manages cross-functional teams during the system ancillary services and biomedical governance processes to identify roles and responsibilities, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, and schedules to ensure resolution and execution of determined biomedical strategies
Manages governance project status communication to project teams and stakeholders via periodic updates and formal progress reports
Identifies and analyzes data to determine organizational trends and performance opportunities as necessary for successful ancillary governance
Creates and maintains comprehensive biomedical engineering governance and select committee documentation and tracking
Interfaces directly with governance and select committee stakeholders to track progress and identify issues related to achieving project deadlines
Manages day-to-day tasks and deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness of biomedical engineering and capital planning governance work
Tracks biomedical engineering governance project progress towards meeting objectives as well as identifies and mitigates possible deviations from established plans and timelines
Develops high-level reports and presentations for executive team
Directly interfaces with physicians, clinicians, and senior leadership for alignment, assuring clinical ancillary services stability and growth
Serves as an active business partner with the Clinical Ancillary Services Governance leaders, Biomedical Engineering SME’s, and Physician/Operational SMEs in the strategic development and vision of biomedical services across the company
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
:
Minimum of two (2) years in progressive programmatic, modality/services, or entry-level management experience in the healthcare field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a health care setting.
Working knowledge of project management, market research and data analytics.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent
