Join our client, a well respected publicly traded manufacturing company, as a VP of Finance. This role is for one of our client's largest division's and reports into the Division GM and is a dotted line into the Segment CFO. This role requires 25% travel (mostly domestic, IN, IL, WI) and offers a hybrid schedule.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:Act as a key business partner to the VP/GM, informing leadership of financial implications of business decisions; Performs all FP&A reporting to executive management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisRecommend and lead new efforts to drive profitable organic growth, decrease trade working capital requirements, increase Return on Invested Capital and optimize Free Cash Flows.Full financial statement ownership to include the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.Oversee 3-Year Strategy Planning process including coordination with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations functions to coordinate presentation to ELT and long-term financials creationOwnership of annual budget process, working with plant controllers and division leadership to set direction and establish financial targetsDirect monthly forecasting process with 9 operating plants as well as consolidation and corporate reporting; Lead monthly close process and monthly financial operating reviewsParticipate in the financial analysis for contract negotiations, capital expenditures and product investment decisions.Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in various reoccurring financial processes through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures, while embracing the company's 80/20 principlesEnsures application and compliance of the company's accounting policies and procedures, US GAAP, IFRS accounting and compliance rules and lawsPartner with other functions and serve as lead financial support for division projects including 80/20 execution, pricing strategy, and footprint optimizationProvide real-time coaching and development opportunities to finance team membersServe as an advocate for our top talent, building strong succession plans to enable increased velocity, be a champion of promoting diversity and inclusion in the organization and be an advocate of our global finance talent development process.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance: advanced degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of relevant and progressive accounting/finance experiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-site responsibility requiredSalary: $200,000-$250,000
