Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Cardiovascular

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant performs the role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model demonstrated through the following competencies: leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision making. Works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. 24/7 Coverage model for Cardiac Care ICU at JSUMC.The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.Cardiovascular experience preferred.
